We are official distributors of Fireus’ Passive Fire Protection. We can offer a complete range of products for nearly every imaginable building and construction requirement. Our range includes fire barriers, membranes, batts, intumescent pipe collars, putty pads, downlighter hoods and more.

Safire® Fire Rated Mineral Fibre Slabs (Batts)
Cost effective, lightweight fire protection for up to 4 hours for passages through fire rated compartment walls and floors.

Safire Fire Barriers consist of 160kg/m3 density mineral fibre slabs, factory coated with a white, class ‘O’ flexible, waterproof ablative coating to produce a durable fire barrier for service penetration openings. They are light, flexible and easy to handle and cut.

FlameStop 60 – Single Membrane Integrity Only Fire Barrier

FireShield TC – Fire and Cavity Barrier
FireShield Total Comfort can be used as a half hour fire and cavity barrier in a single 50mm blanket, or up to one and a half hours when two 50mm blankets are used together.
The half hour cavity barrier performance was tested to BS 476: Part 22 at Warrington Fire Research centre in 1987 (Report No. WARRES 41584). The test showed 62 minutes stability and integrity before being discontinued, and 20 mins insulation.
Addition of LGF41/15 facing tissue has been assessed and will not impair the fire performance (WARRES Report No. C80525)
The one hour barrier was tested to BS 476: Part 22 at Warrington Fire Research Centre in 1989 (Report No. WARRES 46351). This test showed 105 minutes stability and integrity before being discontinued, and 89 mins insulation.
FireShield Total Comfort can be supplied with aluminium foil facing on one or both sides, to provide excellent smoke barrier characteristics and improved acoustic attenuation properties.

Pipe Collars
Fireus Pipe Collars seal closed flammable pipes from 25mm to 400mm diameter and can be face fixed or set-in to a wall or ceiling structure – the most economic long term solution.
- Fire rating up to 4 hours.
- Intumescent is totally unaffected by water.
- Intumescent is robust – ‘non-flaking’ and difficult to tear.
- Stainless steel case.
- Tab closing – easy to fix in place.
- Identification on each product for full traceability.
Suitable for fitting to:
- Concrete, masonry, porous concrete and stud wall constructions.
- Concrete floor construction – on underside only.
- Waste water and fresh water plastic pipes.

Downlighter / Luminaire Fire Hoods
The Canopy or Downlight cover will provide 60 minutes protection, by completely containing the fire and smoke within the cover, whilst at the same time allowing the heat from the light fitting to dissipate through the cover.

Safire® Socket / Switch Box Putty Pads
Safire® Socket/Switch Box Putty Pads are an easy to apply fire and sound rated sealant supplied as a non-setting putty. The pad is hand workable, reuseable and reserviceable due to its non-setting properties.
- Providing upto 120 minutes fire resistance in accordance with BS476 part 22
- Excellent Acoustic Properties
- Can be easily installed on first or second fix
Safire® Socket/Switch Box Protection Pads will prevent the passage of smoke, flames, sound and air movement through the electrical socket. They are shaped for use on both single and double electrical sockets installations in dry lining walls.
The pads are supplied in a cross shape for internal installation in a socket or switch box.
For fire resistance only, the Socket/Switch Box Protection Pad achieves full fire performance without additional insulation between the studs.
